Why do tyre shops use an AI receptionist?
+
Miya answers tyre calls while your fitters work, asks drivers to read the size off the sidewall, records the vehicle and number of tyres, books fitting, balancing, alignments and puncture repairs, and passes stock and price checks to the workshop. Fewer tyre enquiries go to the next shop on the list.
Can it quote tyre prices?
+
Tyre prices depend on stock and brand, so Miya records the size, vehicle, tyre count and any brand or budget preference, then passes it to your team for a quote. She can quote service fees from your list, such as alignment, balancing and puncture repair.
Will it check whether tyres are in stock?
+
Miya cannot see your stock, so she never confirms availability. She logs a stock check with the exact size and quantity for the workshop, who call the driver back. Once stock is confirmed, the driver can be booked straight into a fitting slot.
How are punctures handled?
+
Callers with a nail or slow leak are offered a same-day slot. Miya never says whether a tyre is safe to drive on, and advises fitting the spare or calling roadside assistance rather than driving on a flat. Anyone in danger after a blowout is told to ring 000.
Does it connect to tyre shop software?
+
Not yet. Fitting and alignment slots live in Google Calendar or Calendly, while every tyre call is logged in RingOut with size, vehicle and request, so your counter staff can enter it into the shop system. Most counters clear the list between fittings.
What does a tyre shop pay for RingOut?
+
Smaller tyre shops often begin with Starter, which costs $49 monthly and gives an hour of calls. Busier shops tend to choose Growth at $149 a month, answering four tyre calls together and recording them. Tyre shop pricing excludes GST, with no setup charge.
