Why would a pool service business use AI call answering?
+
Miya handles the phone during your rounds, books regular cleans onto the right suburb round, prioritises green pool rescues, records pump, filter and chlorinator details for repairs, and passes water chemistry questions to technicians. Summer enquiries are captured instead of going to another pool service.
Will it give advice about pool chemicals?
+
No. Miya never recommends chemical amounts, pH targets or dosing. Instead, a technician gets the question to answer, or the caller can book a water test. For chemical exposure she shares the Poisons Information Centre line, 13 11 26, and anything life-threatening goes to 000.
Can it manage our regular rounds?
+
Yes. Tell Miya which days cover which suburbs, and she places each new weekly, fortnightly or monthly pool on the matching round, noting gates, dogs and keys. When a customer skips a week or changes day, that is logged so your technicians know before they set out.
How are green pool rescues handled?
+
Miya records whether the pool is salt or chlorine, roughly how big it is and how long it has been green, then books your first available rescue slot. If you set a rescue price, she quotes it; otherwise she explains that the technician confirms the cost on site.
Does it work with pool service software?
+
Not yet. Service rounds sit in Google Calendar or Calendly, and RingOut logs each customer call against the address, with the pool type and request, so your team can update its own system easily. Many pool services review the log at the end of each round.
What does a pool service business pay for it?
+
Many pool services run Starter, $49 a month for 60 minutes, in the cooler months and move to Growth at $149 for summer, gaining recordings and 250 minutes. GST is added on top, setting up costs nothing and plans can change each month.
