What does an AI receptionist for salons do?
+
It answers your salon phone while stylists are with clients, books cuts, colours and treatments with the right stylist and appointment length, explains your deposit, patch test and cancellation rules, and offers freed slots to clients who want them. Clients book on the first call instead of trying another salon.
Can it book the right length for each service?
+
Yes. You set how long each service takes for each stylist, such as a 45-minute cut or a three-hour balayage, and Miya only offers times that fit. If a client asks for a service a stylist does not offer, she suggests another stylist or passes the request to you.
How does it handle patch tests and deposits?
+
From your written rules. If you require a skin allergy test before first colours, Miya books it ahead of the colour and explains the timing. She explains deposit amounts and your cancellation window word for word, and never waives a fee herself.
Will it give product or skin advice?
+
No. Miya does not recommend products, comment on skin or hair conditions, or decide whether a client can have a treatment. Those questions go to your team as messages. Anyone describing swelling or trouble breathing after a treatment is told to ring 000.
Does it work with salon booking software?
+
Not yet. Right now appointments are held in Google Calendar or Calendly, and RingOut stores a short record of every client call with the service, stylist and time, so moving it into your salon system takes seconds. Nothing about how clients reach you has to change.
How much does an AI receptionist for salons cost?
+
Boutique salons often begin with Starter: $49 monthly for 60 minutes of calls. Busier multi-stylist salons tend to choose the $149 Growth plan for 250 minutes and recorded calls. All prices are AUD before GST, setup is free and you can cancel whenever you choose.
